Encrypted before it leaves your device
With client-side decryption and provider-held recovery disabled, payload bytes are encrypted on your hardware and the server never receives a usable content key. How the encryption works

Where the software comes from
NDEVR started in 2018 writing software for surveying and mining. That work includes mapping mine workings underground, running SLAM while a scanner is carried through a tunnel, and opening point clouds of a hundred million points on a field laptop. It is still the core of the company.
OWL runs on that same engine. OWL-3D opens the same CAD models and point clouds in the browser, in more than 20 formats, with nothing to install.
