Many high-end LiDARs are excellent for scanning in at 200 meter ranges, but can’t detect obstacles less than a meter away. Budget LiDARs can often excel at close-up scans, but have limited range. Currently, we support many close-range models.
The Intel® RealSense™ depth camera D435 is a stereo solution, offering quality depth for a variety of applications. Its wide field of view is perfect for applications such as robotics or augmented and virtual reality, where seeing as much of the scene as possible is vitally important.
The Intel® RealSense™ Depth Camera D455 improves upon the D435 by increasing range and accuracy by a factor of two. The SDK 2.0 is designed to allow seamless transitions from one generation to the next and between our cameras.
The D457 depth camera adds a GMSL serializer and FAKRA connector to the Intel RealSense camera product line. GMSL/FAKRA has lower power, lower ESD/EMI noise, lower latency, longer cable length than USB, higher bandwidth compared to Ethernet, and an IP65-grade enclosure to better protect it from dust and water.
The D405 depth camera is ideal for high accuracy at close range. It provides sub-millimeter accuracy for your close-range computer vision needs. At a distance of 0.07m, it can even detect objects measuring 50 microns.

The Carlson Scan2K and Scan750 bridge the gap between small, light-weight, short-range sensors and large, long-range, pulsed time-of-flight scanners. Built with surveyors in mind, the Carlson Scan2K and Scan750 have a user-friendly on-board operator interface with menu-driven operations for quickly collecting and referencing data.
The Carlson Void Scanner+ is a specialized, laser-based cavity monitoring system that uses time-of-flight laser measurement to map the shape, position, and spatial location of voids. Void Scanner+ helps you solve underground surveying challenges quickly and cheaply, while ensuring both the safety of personnel and the protection of stock and underground sites.
The C-ALS (Cavity Auto-scanning Laser System) is a unique specialist underground laser cavity monitoring system that enables mapping of previously inaccessible parts of mines, safely and quickly. It can be used in a wide range of applications, where an inaccessible void exists and accurate data is required to monitor excavations, assess risk, or design solutions.
