LiDAR are becoming a more popular choice due to lower prices and better manufacturing. However, there is no perfect LiDAR for all applications. If you’re thinking about using a LiDAR, but don’t know where to begin, let our expert team assist you.
Many high-end LiDARs are excellent for scanning in at 200 meter ranges, but can’t detect obstacles less than a meter away. Budget LiDARs can often excel at close-up scans, but have limited range. Currently, we support many close-range models.
The Intel® RealSense™ depth camera D435 is a stereo solution, offering quality depth for a variety of applications. Its wide field of view is perfect for applications such as robotics or augmented and virtual reality, where seeing as much of the scene as possible is vitally important.
The Intel® RealSense™ Depth Camera is our most popular camera. It excels at point accuracy especially when used indoors. The large camera baseline allows for extended accuracy and a wide field of view for collecting data quickly.
The D457 depth camera adds a GMSL serializer and FAKRA connector to the Intel RealSense camera product line. GMSL/FAKRA has lower power, lower ESD/EMI noise, lower latency, longer cable length than USB, higher bandwidth compared to Ethernet, and an IP65-grade enclosure to better protect it from dust and water.
The D405 depth camera is ideal for high accuracy at close range. It provides sub-millimeter accuracy for your close-range computer vision needs. At a distance of 0.07m, it can even detect objects measuring 50 microns.
With its 15cm baseline, the OAK-D LR is capable of precise depth readings up to ~30 m. This camera is ideal for outdoor use, thanks to its IP65 certification for water and dust resistance.
-Includes 3 stereo baselines: 5cm, 10cm, and 15cm for short, medium, and long-range depth
-Swappable M12-mount lenses with M12 lock rings (to keep focus/alignment)
Oak-D second generation camera equipped with IR illumination for low-light conditions and active stereo improving depth perception.
Active stereo: IR dot projector improves depth perception, especially for low-visual-interest surfaces by projecting thousands of IR dots to the scene.
Night vision: IR illumination LED enables running your AI and CV algorithms in low-light or no-light environments
The OAK-D-SR is designed to prioritize improved short-range accuracy compared to the standard OAK-D, with the ideal depth measurement range being 30cm to 1m. It’s perfect for applications that require close-in depth and detail, such as quality control or automated manufacturing.
The original OAK-D. 4 TOPS of processing power, two grayscale sensors for stereo depth, and a single center color sensor. It has been directly superseded by the 2nd generation OAK-D-S2 offering more CCM options in a sleeker body, or its Pro version with additional features.
Survey Grade Scanners offer premium quality and range at premium prices.
The Carlson Scan2K and Scan750 bridge the gap between small, light-weight, short-range sensors and large, long-range, pulsed time-of-flight scanners. Built with surveyors in mind, the Carlson Scan2K and Scan750 have a user-friendly on-board operator interface with menu-driven operations for quickly collecting and referencing data.
The Carlson Void Scanner+ is a specialized, laser-based cavity monitoring system that uses time-of-flight laser measurement to map the shape, position, and spatial location of voids. Void Scanner+ helps you solve underground surveying challenges quickly and cheaply, while ensuring both the safety of personnel and the protection of stock and underground sites.
The C-ALS (Cavity Auto-scanning Laser System) is a unique specialist underground laser cavity monitoring system that enables mapping of previously inaccessible parts of mines, safely and quickly. It can be used in a wide range of applications, where an inaccessible void exists and accurate data is required to monitor excavations, assess risk, or design solutions.
