In the manufacturing process, ensuring product quality at every stage is critical for maintaining reliability and customer satisfaction. Included for free in the NDEVR Enterprise package are automated tools that easily allow for testing within the NDEVR Guided Approach. For customers with special use cases, we offer customer driven solutions.
For hardware that uses the NDEVR engine for their fundamental logic, we recommend the NDEVR Guided approach. This ensures that the engine receives the input it needs to give accurate solutions.
The tools included within the enterprise package can be categorized into three key phases: Incoming Quality Control (IQC), In-Process Quality Control (IPQC), and Outgoing Quality Control (OQC). Here’s an overview of each phase, their objectives, and the tools and techniques we offer.
IQC focuses on inspecting raw materials, components, and other inputs to ensure they meet quality standards before they enter the production line.
– Prevent defective materials from entering production.
– Identify issues with suppliers early.
– Minimize waste and avoid production delays caused by faulty inputs.
– Visual Inspection: Using the NDEVR Scan tool, we help inspect for visible defects like cracks, discoloration, or incorrect dimensions.
– Functional Testing: We provide interfaces for testing the basic functionality of components, such as circuit boards or motors looking for outliers.
IPQC ensures that the production process is operating efficiently and that products meet quality requirements at different stages of manufacturing.
– Catch defects during production.
– Ensure process consistency and adherence to specifications.
– Reduce the risk of large-scale defects.
– Process Monitoring: We provide software to observe and record key production parameters over many different communication protocols.
– Statistical Process Control (SPC): We provide data-driven tools like control charts to track and improve production processes.
OQC is the final step in quality assurance, focusing on inspecting finished products before they are shipped to customers.
– Ensure customers receive defect-free products.
– Validate that products meet all specifications and regulatory requirements.
– Protect the brand reputation by minimizing returns and complaints.
– Visual and Functional Inspection: We provide the NDEVR scan tool for visible defects, correct labeling, and packaging integrity, as well as verifying functionality.
– Traceability Checks: We can interface with common 3rd party tools to provide proper documentation and serial numbers for quality tracking. Additionally, we offer PDF and MS office worksheets for documentation.
In order to effectively implement the NDEVR guided approach, we perform a multi-part process. This process is meant to provide a risk-free analysis of the project, and better help you understand the tools included with your enterprise subscription.
For enterprise customers with specific needs that do not fit into the NDEVR guided approach framework, our API is flexible and can be easily adapted to fulfill specific needs. This API is included free with the NDEVR license.
The NDEVR API is provided free to enterprise customers for the purpose of development. Our API is clean and well-documented, and easily expandable. We also offer optional training courses.
In addition, enterprise customers have access to free unlimited support for API Usage.
For customers that need additional support or lack the resources to develop their custom tools in-house, we offer further assistance in the form of contracted development with the end customer retaining full ownership of the end-code.
