Accessibility Statement
NDEVR develops software for three-dimensional modeling, technical analysis and online collaboration. We work to make our products usable with keyboards, screen readers and other assistive technologies. This statement describes our desktop accessibility improvements, the scope of our evaluations and how to request assistance.
1. Accessibility standard
Our technical accessibility standard is Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, Level AA. For desktop software, we apply the guidance in WCAG2ICT, which explains how WCAG requirements apply to non-web documents and software.
Assessments identify the application build, environment and functions evaluated. Shared improvements benefit applications that use the same components; conformance also depends on each application's features and content.
2. Desktop applications
NDEVR desktop applications share a common software framework for windows, menus, toolbars, forms, dialogs and other interface controls. Accessibility improvements made in this framework apply across desktop applications using those components when rebuilt with the updated framework.
The shared improvements include keyboard navigation, focus management, accessible control names and states, screen-reader announcements, and visual contrast. These changes help users move between interface areas, identify and operate controls, enter information and receive feedback while completing a task.
Applications with drawing, measurement or analysis tools also need accessible alternatives for their specialist interactions. Numerical entry, accessible properties and tables can provide alternatives to working directly in a three-dimensional view. Coverage of these functions is assessed within the application in which they are provided.
Evaluation environment and method
Evaluation has combined source review, automated checks and manual testing of keyboard operation, screen-reader interaction, visual presentation and application workflows. Windows testing used Windows 11 Pro, version 25H2, OS build 26200.9457, with NVDA 2026.2. Selected desktop workflows also received keyboard and accessibility-interface checks on macOS.
Assessment scope
Shared framework changes benefit the desktop application family. Assessment results apply to the builds and functions actually evaluated; they do not establish that every application, operating system or earlier release has completed the same testing.
Follow-up verification remains open for some focus-navigation behavior, control names and import-status announcements. These observations are being reconciled with completed assessment results before an unrestricted conformance statement is made here.
Contact accessibility@ndevr.org for assessment documentation and information about the accessibility of a particular desktop application or supplied build.
3. Website and web applications
The NDEVR website provides product information, documentation and online services. OWL web applications provide functions such as file sharing, messaging, calendars and task boards.
WCAG 2.2 Level AA conformance has not been established for these services. Their evaluations remain incomplete and are separate from the desktop assessments.
Testing has included automated checks, keyboard interaction and selected screen-reader tasks. Repairs have improved form labels, keyboard access, dialog focus, control semantics and contrast. Limited speech testing used Safari 26.4 with VoiceOver 10 on macOS 26.4; automated testing used Chromium. These results cover the tested pages and states.
The wider website review still records unresolved findings involving text contrast, links distinguished only by color, and missing names, titles or language information in an embedded projection demonstration. Complete sign-in and account-recovery processes, file-sharing workflows, messaging, calendars, task boards and complex editors require further evaluation with assistive technology. Responsive layouts, media and generated documents also remain within that review.
Other platforms
Native mobile and television applications require their own assessments.
4. Accessibility assistance
To report a barrier, request an accessible format or ask for assistance completing a task, email accessibility@ndevr.org. You can also contact support@ndevr.org.
Please include the product or page, the task you were attempting, and a description of the barrier. If available, include the application version, operating system, browser and assistive technology. Do not send passwords, verification codes or private project contents.
We review accessibility reports to identify a practical way to access the information or complete the task, and to guide product improvements. Please describe the format or assistance you need.
5. Review and reporting
We update this statement as product versions, assessment results and known limitations change. Conformance reports identify their evaluation scope and methods. Internal assessments are not independent third-party certifications, and this statement does not establish compliance with every legal or procurement requirement.
